How to Qualify for Immigration to Australia
To be eligible, you must earn 65 points based on age, qualifications, work experience, and language proficiency.
Age Points
- 25 to 33 years → 30 points
- 33 to 40 years → 25 points
- 40 to 45 years → 15 points
Education Points
- Bachelor’s degree or higher → 15 points
Language Proficiency (IELTS or PTE Academic)
- IELTS 8 / PTE 79 (each skill) → 20 points
- IELTS 7 / PTE 65 (each skill) → 10 points
Marital Status Bonus
- Single applicants → 10 points
- Married applicants → 5 points (if spouse scores IELTS 5 / PTE 50)

What’s Next?
Once your qualifications are assessed, and you meet the required points, you can apply for permanent residency (PR), valid for 5 years! PR holders can later apply for Australian citizenship.
